Jimin BTS Successfully Releases First Solo Album Titled "FACE"

   One of the BTS members, Park Jimin or better known as Jimin BTS officially released his first solo album titled "FACE".

   Jimin BTS released his first solo album "FACE", Friday March 24, 2023. "FACE" is the first album from Park Jimin, also known as Jimin BTS. This album also marks the beginning of Jimin's post-pandemic soloist career.

   On the same day Jimin also released the MV Like Crazy which became the main song. Like Crazy is a synth pop song that combines intense synth and drum sounds with a timbre.

   Through Like Crazy, Jimin BTS describes the situation of someone trying to escape from a painful reality. In addition, BigHit Music Agency also stated that the album "FACE" also depicts how Jimin deals with himself and prepares for a new start as a soloist after going through the COVID-19 pandemic.

   In the FACE Album there are six songs with “Set Me Free Pt. 2” as the pre-release track and “Like Crazy” as the title track, according to the announced track list, "Face-off", "Interlude: Dive", and "Alone". There is also an English version of "Like Crazy". The CD version includes a hidden track called "Letter", which from the lyrics sounds like it's meant for ARMY as well as the other six members of BTS.

   A line of great musicians such as Pdogg, Supreme Boi, GHSTLOOP, EVAN, BLVSH, Chris James, and RM BTS participated in the production of the album. A week before the album release, Jimin released Set Me Free Pt. 2, a hip-hop song about the resolution to move forward freely, unbound by pain, sadness, and emptiness.

   Since the release of the album "FACE" has received a lot of attention and interest, thereby reaping various successes. The album set a record for being the best-selling solo album in Hanteo history, breaking over 1 million copies on its first day of release. Not only that, "Like Crazy" and the album also managed to soar to the top of the iTunes charts in many countries around the world.

   Although "FACE" marks Jimin's first solo album, this is not Jimin's first solo performance. Before releasing his solo album, Jimin was also involved in Taeyang BIGBANG's latest single titled "VIBE". In this collaboration, he is joined by a single which is Taeyang's first solo music in the last six years.

   Jimin's achievement topping iTunes charts around the world with his solo songs shows the power and charm he has as a solo singer. It also shows how much influence BTS and Jimin have in the global music industry.
